How many times does it happen where the line’s just a bit too long, the bathroom’s not quite clean enough, or something doesn’t go right? No matter what we do, sometimes a customer experience isn’t what we want it to be. How nice is it when you get that free cup of coffee or that extra Coke or someone says, this one’s on me? We don’t want to do it all the time – we can’t do it all the time – but do your staff know when the right time is? Is how to do it and what’s appropriate?
